“Did
the next Chaos Emerald and Crystal Star have to be at the zoo?”
Mariah and I asked each other.

Yep,
we were at Brookfield Zoo which had been overcome by its own animals.
We could see monkeys climbing on light fixtures, lions, tigers and
bears (oh my!) eating people alive as well as other animals just
throwing things around.

“Why
did you decide to find the next two gems at Brookfield Zoo?” I
asked Kris and Yumi.

“Well,
the radar picked up the location here.” Yumi began.

“Yet
the signal seems to becoming from the primate exhibit.” Kris
added. “That and the other exhibits are blocked off.”

So
we all entered the primate exhibit and began to look for the sixth
pair of powerful gems. As we looked around, we began to notice that
some of the monkeys had gone from attacking us to running away from
the building. We didn't mind that because we were after the gems.
Once we entered the building, we saw what looked like a large statue
of a hooded figure holding a staff in the background. Inside the
large glass ball on the tip of the staff were the Chaos Emerald and
the Crystal Star, the sixth ones to be precise.

However, the
statue's arms began to move and lightning coursed through the staff.
We split off into two different directions to avoid getting zapped or
killed. As we dodged the lightning, I found a nearby hammer being
held by a monkey. As a natural response, I darted after the monkey
and ate its hammer and transformed into Hammer Kirby. The statue shot
another lightning bolt at me, but I lept towards the glass ball on
the staff and began to smash it. However, I only managed to make a
tiny crack in the glass, but I kept smashing it while my friends
joined in. However, a group of people with hair and eye colors
similar to Mariah's helped me finish of the glass ball.

“Logan?”
Mariah asked. “You came to help my friends and I?”

“You didn't
think the kids and I would let you end up losing this fight, would
you, Mari?” Logan responded, smiling. “Besides, you mean
more than anything to me.”

I noticed Stella
starting to feel more confident after witnessing this adorable scene.
The brown eyed brunette Mew Mew began to pull out her Forest Bell and
then she said to herself, “If Logan can come to Mariah's aid,
then I'm sure I can do the same for Kasden.” Then she jumped in
the air and yelled “Forest Bell! Full Power!” as streams
of light began to flow from the bell and instantly destroy the
statue.

Boss
Defeated!

Logan, Katniss, Luke
and Maggie joined the party!

“Thanks for
helping us out, Logan.” Mariah said, hugging her lover. “I
couldn't have done this without you.”

“I would do
anything for you,” Logan responded. “Even if it meant
nearly sacrificing my life.”

“Dad, don't
you think we have the rest of the Chaos Emeralds and Crystal Stars to
find?” Luke asked his father.

“Well the
last ones are not that far.” I told the son of Mariah and Logan
as I picked up the sixth Chaos Emerald and the sixth Crystal Star.
“They are right at Millennium Park right at the Crown Fountains
which is our next stop.”

With that, we were
off on the next part of our adventure. The seventh and last Chaos
Emerald and Crystal Star.
